Job Description:
- Management and resolution of technical issues logged by customers in the U.K.
- Drive improvements in process and culture within the RM group, with a focus on both internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to technical support knowledge base.
- Experience in working in 2nd/3rd line (or equivalent) technical support role.
- Experience in providing technical support to customers/clients using Microsoft windows Client/Server platform.
- Experience in Windows Server 2003/2008, Windows XP, Vista, Win 7, Windows Backup, Symantec Backup Exec, Anti-Virus.
- Knowledge of Apple, Virtualisation, Exchange.
Preferred Skills:
- Should be a graduate, (preferably computer related) with 4-6 years experience into windows technical support.
- Other competencies desired are excellent communication and inter-personal skills, good planning, organising & time management skills, ability to prioritize work, drive for results within deadlines, escalate issues at an early stage to Line Manager and counterparts in UK, demonstrate a high degree of self motivation and tenacity to get the job done, should have Logical, analytical approach to problem solving
